ACT Raising Safe Kids Program
The ACT Raising Safe Kids Program teaches positive parenting skills to parents and caregivers of children from birth to age 10.
Welcome to the ACT Raising Safe Kids Program Facilitator and Master Trainer application portal!
ACT Facilitators are professionals with a minimum of an associate degree — but a bachelor’s degree is preferred — in fields such as education, social work, counseling, psychology, healthcare, nursing and early education, among others.
ACT Master Trainers are professionals with advanced degrees (MS, MSW, MFT, LPC, RN, MA, PhD, PsyD) in fields such as mental health and counseling, social work, education, school administration, nursing or primary care. They have longstanding experience in conducting training for professionals and program management and have previous experience conducting the ACT Program with groups of parents and/or caregivers.

Process
1. Log in
Log in to the Adults and Children Together Application System with your APA email and password.
2. Create
Create your online application.
3. Save
During the Call for Applications period, your application can be saved as DRAFT until all the required information is completed and attachments uploaded. As each section is complete, you will see a
appear in the category tab when the application is saved. At any time, you can download and print your application by clicking on the
icon in the Application Summary section.
4. Submit
On completion, save your Application as FINAL. Download and print a copy of your application for your records by clicking on the
icon in the Application Summary section in the right column. Note: If an update is required prior to the Call for Applications period ends, you can make the update and resave as FINAL.
Best Practices
- Make sure your required materials (CV/resume, etc.) are available to upload.
- Complete all form fields.
- Allow yourself enough time to complete the application.
